An online ADHD assessment gives you a clear, considered answer to a question many people carry for years. Assessments are available for children aged 7 and over, teenagers and adults, and the whole process runs by secure video, without a long waitlist or any travel. At AusFive, a registered psychologist guides you through a structured assessment and provides a written report with findings and practical recommendations.

Many adults go years wondering whether ADHD explains their struggles with focus, organisation, follow-through, time or restlessness. An assessment is worth considering if you recognise long-standing difficulties with sustaining attention, being easily distracted, losing track of tasks and belongings, running late or underestimating time, restlessness or impulsivity, or a lifelong sense of working harder than others to keep on top of things. An assessment helps you understand whether the criteria for ADHD are met and what might help.
For children, a parent or guardian is involved throughout, and assessments for children aged 7 and over are with Darren Rose.
Each ADHD assessment is an all-inclusive package covering an intake session, a diagnostic session and a written report, for one fixed fee. It begins with an intake session, where we talk through your history and what you are hoping to understand. The diagnostic session draws on structured clinical interviews and validated questionnaires, and is followed by a written report with findings and practical recommendations.
An assessment helps clarify whether the criteria for ADHD are met, and a diagnosis is made only where it is clinically indicated. We will be clear at every stage about what the assessment can and cannot tell you.
We talk through your history and what you are hoping to understand.
Structured clinical interviews and validated questionnaires.
With findings and practical recommendations.
A thorough, structured assessment conducted by a registered psychologist, and a written report in plain language that sets out the findings and practical recommendations, which you can share with your GP or other providers as you choose.
The ADHD assessment is an all-inclusive package covering an intake session, a diagnostic session and a written report. The full package is $1,200. The assessment itself is generally not covered by a Medicare rebate.
If you’d prefer to talk things through first, you can book a standard initial consultation at $245, which attracts the Medicare rebate; the assessment fee is separate.
You will be working with a real person, matched to suit what you are going through.
